Training Offerings Include:
The Compelling Speaker
The Compelling Speaker is a unique presentation skills training program that combines audio instruction with a hands-on workshop. The program helps to achieve mastery more quickly because of its format: participants are given a comprehensive notebook and two-hour audio CD before the workshop. By reviewing these materials beforehand, they come into the workshop with a grounding in the basics of effective presentation skills.
They use this knowledge acquired and absorbed in advance, as a foundation for their hands-on participation in the workshop. This means precious class time can be spent in direct “real time” practice for all the participants.
Business and Social Dynamics
In ancient indigenous societies, shamans recognized “presence” as one of the three universal powers. Presence was defined by these ancients as choosing to be present and visible, showing up energetically, and bringing forward all four of the intelligences (mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual). When a person embodies the power of presence, he or she possesses “big medicine” and is able to empower and inspire others.
In today’s business world, your ability to interact with others professionally and confidently determines what people think of you and whether or not they want to do business with you. It is the essence of exhibiting the power of presence.
Communic8 Essentials
Being able to communicate well is a multi-faceted skill that has a direct impact on your career success. After all, you may be competent, brilliant, and even right, but if you can’t communicate your ideas, you’ll get left in the dust.
This workshop focuses on eight essentials to good, well-rounded communication. All of them are important in helping you enhance your professionalism, improve your relationships, and make a difference in your business success.
Team Dynamics (Myers Briggs)
Understanding your psychological type is useful in understanding work habits, decision making, communication styles, and team interactions. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a highly researched, nonjudgmental instrument that reports on an individual’s preferences in four different dimensions of personality, which are combined into a psychological type.
Respondents take the Indicator in advance of the program. During the workshop, they receive a complete MBTI analysis of their personality type. Through lecture and exercises, they will gain insight into themselves and others that can promote more productive interpersonal interactions.
