Barbara Busey. Owner of Presentation Dynamics. Barbara Busey is president of Presentation Dynamics, where she teaches people the dynamics of how to present themselves better. Education

Barbara has her Master's degree in Speech Communication from Georgia State University. She earned her Bachelor's degree cum laude in Journalism from the University of Georgia, where she received several awards and honors, including being named Outstanding Senior of the Year in her major.

She has received professional training from the Association for Psychological type, which qualified her to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, and from the Professional Image Institute in Atlanta, which certified her in image and etiquette consulting.

Career

She has over 25 years business communication experience, including:

as an entrepreneur with her own training firm
for a small business as a communication consultant and trainer
college teaching in speech communication and journalism
the corporate environment in advertising, marketing, and public relations

Her skills in written and verbal communication have won her awards from organizations such as the International Association of Business Communicators, the American Advertising Federation, the Public Relations Society of America, the Association for Women in Communication.

She speaks and writes often on communication-related topics, including a monthly column on "People Skills" that ran inThe Charlotte Business Journal for six years. Her book, Stand Out When You Stand Up -- An A to Z Guide to Powerful Presentations, is now available.
